Buducnost is the first finalist of the ABA League Supercup after beating Partizan Belgrade 90 – 87 in overtime.
It was Petar Popovic that made the difference for Buducnost in overtime with seven consecutive points that gave his team an important edge: 76 – 83. Partizan approached 82 – 83 but the reigning ABA champions held on to a lead for the remainder of the match.
Popovic finished with 14 points while Earl Clark led Buducnost with 17. Coty Clarke had 16 points and five rebounds.
Vanja Marinkovic scored 19 points and grabbed four rebounds for Partizan. Jock Landale notched 16 points and nine rebounds while Rade Zagorac had 15 points plus eight boards.
