Once again, just like in the Korac Cup, the game between Crvena Zvezda and Partizan went down to the wire but this time, Zvezda came out victorious with a 70-68 win on Day 20 of ABA League.
Partizan came into the final minute with a 68-66 lead after Jock Landale and Ognjen Jaramaz nailed two shots from deep. However, Joe Ragland made a layup and two free throws which set the final score although Partizan had two chances to recover.
Ragland banked 18 points followed by Michael Ojo’s 16 points and nine rebounds while Billy Baron scored 12 points. KC Rivers made his debut with Crvena Zvezda playing 13 minutes but couldn’t score any points (0-5 FG) while he added three rebounds.
For Partizan, Landale and Vanja Marinkovic scored 13 points each in addition to Jaramaz’s 12 points.
Crvena Zvezda improved to 19-1 at the top of ABA League while Partizan stands at 13-7 with two more Gamedays to go.
