Six players scored in double-digits for Buducnost Voli as they recorded an 87-72 home win over Cedevita and tied the ABA League semifinal series at 1-1. The third and last game of the series will be played on Sunday (7/4) in Croatia.
Edwin Jackson led the winning side with 15 points while Norris Cole banked 11 points and nine assists. Nemanja Gordic, Goga Bitadze and Danilo Nikolic also added 11 points each in addition to Suad Sehovic’s ten points.
For Cedevita, Jacob Pullen nailed 18 points followed by Justin Cobbs and Filip Kruslin’s 11 points each.
It was a fairly balanced half with Buducnost slightly ahead (33-31) but they took over in the third creating some space (58-50) and although Cedevita cut the gap (65-62), the Montenegrin squad finished the game on a 19-8 run which sealed the deal.
