Mike Zirbes and Crvena Zvezda parted ways as announced Friday. The German center accepted Guangxi Weizhuang’s offer and will spend the remainder of the season in the Chinese League.
29-year-old Zirbes played in 28 games for the Serbian club during the 2018-19 ABA League campaign, averaging 7.7 points and 3.6 rebounds in his second stint with the club.
Crvena Zvezda beat Buducnost in the ABA League finals and was crowned champion while at the same time sealed a EuroLeague ticket for the upcoming season.
