The long-awaited ABA League Assembly, which was postponed three times, has finally met today (24/5) in Banja Luka but they’ve reportedly been having a hard time reaching an agreement on many decisions.
According to Zurnal, after six hours of the meeting which started at noon, Buducnost representatives together with the club President Dragan Bokan left the building in protest of their proposal’s to replace the league management and annul the ABA Finals results being turned down.
The only decision made was to fine Bokan and Crvena Zvezda President Nebojsa Covic with €10,000 for inappropriate statements made during the Finals series.
The Assembly was also supposed to discuss the possibilities of Olympiacos, Panathinaikos and Bnei Herzliya joining the competition as all three clubs sent their applications.
