Marko Simonovic led the way and Mega Bemax followed for a 95-91 home win over FMP in the ABA League.
Simonovic notched a double-double with 26 points and 12 rebounds while Kendrick Perry added 18 in addition to Blaz Mesicek and Nikola Miskovic’s 12 points each.
For FMP, Aleksa Radanov scored 17 points followed by Stefan Pot’s 14 and Okben Ulubay’s 13 points.
Mega improved to 3-10 but they still stay at the bottom of the standings together with Zadar and Igokea. At the top, Partizan and Cedevita Olimpija lead with 10-3 records followed by Buducnost with 9-3, FMP and Primorska with 8-5 records.
It should be noted that the game between Buducnost and Crvena Zvezda scheduled for today in Montenegro (30/12) wasn’t played as the Serbian team didn’t show up. The League didn’t make a decision yet regarding the case but it can be expected for Buducnost to get the 20:0 win while Zvezda might also get fined.
