ACB teams are slowly getting back to practice to prepare for the upcoming season conclusion tournament with Unicaja Malaga also opening its facilities to its players for the first time under coronavirus restrictions.
Gal Mekel documented the return to the courts and the guidelines that players and staff have to follow, in accordance with public health guidelines.
“Each player was given a pre-training kit from the team, so we knew what we were going to do. Each of us was assigned an assistant coach who wore a mask and gloves. In my capsule were Alberto Diaz and Josh Adams, each on his own half of the field, and we tried not to come close to each other. The club organized it very neatly and professionally: after each workout, they cleaned the field before the next group of players arrived. There is a specific area that is designed for stretching only, and it is cleaned all the time”, Mekel told Walla.
