ACB wants to resume Spanish League action on June 17 and wrap up the 12-team tournament in two weeks, before the potential relaunch of the 2019-20 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Finishing the 2019-20 season by June 30 excludes an overlap from the conclusion of the EuroLeague season, which is expected to be set in July, provided Euroleague Basketball decides to resume action instead of canceling the season on Monday.

The Spanish football league set to resume by 8, if everything goes according to plan, gave a boost of optimism for the Spanish basketball league teams and executives. The ACB may even push its planned schedule earlier into June if health risks are minimized.

The top 12 teams of the standings prior to the ongoing hiatus are expected to be split into two groups with the top two teams of each group played at a single venue advancing to the semifinals. A single match will determine the finalists and afterward the champion, 14 or possibly 15 days after the prospective restart of the 2019-20 season.
