FC Barcelona struggled but managed to defeat Baskonia 81-75 in their first meeting at the ACB Final Tournament, whilst keeping its undefeated streak.
Adam Hanga paced the efforts of the winning side with 15 points and seven assists, while Nikola Mirotic tapped 13 points and eight rebounds.
Shavon Shields posted a game-high performance of 26 points with 6-9 from the three-point line, followed by Pierria Henry who added 14 points, four rebounds and four assists.
Earlier in the day, Bilbao registered its first win against Iberostar Tenerife (78-70), led by Rafa Martinez and Jonathan Rousselle who posted 13 points each. Tenerife’s Nick Zeisloft finished the game with a team-high of 22 points.
Unicaja Malaga bounced back from its Friday defeat to Barcelona by taking down Joventut Badalona 98-89, as Axel Bouteille paced the efforts of the winning side with 28 points. Klemen Prepelic tapped 26 points though Badalona suffered its second defeat in three games.
