Barcelona became the first team to advance to the Spanish ACB League semifinals by defeating Bilbao 85 – 73. The Basque side dropped to 1-3 and was eliminated.
Pierre Oriola scored an ACB career-high-tying 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds to pace the Nikola Mirotic-less Barcelona to its fourth win in four games. Brandon Davies added 14 points and Adam Hanga registered a career-high 12 assists in less than 18 minutes to go with his two points.
Emir Sulejmanovic (11 points, five rebounds), Jonathan Rousselle (11 points, five assists) and Ben Lammers (10 points) scored in double figures from Bilbao.
In the last game of the night, Iberostar Tenerife beat Joventut Badalona 82-80 and as a result, both teams are also eliminated.
Baskonia with a 3-1 record has the advantage for the second ticket to the semifinals after beating Unicaja.
