Kerem Kanter led Joventut Badalona over Baskonia as the team logged a 76-74 victory in the ACB Final Tournament and still hopes to join Barcelona and Baskonia from Group A in the next phase of the tournament.
Kanter was the player of the game and finished with 18 points (7/13 FG) and seven rebounds across 24 minutes leading his team’s efforts while Arturs Zagars and Xabi López Aróstegui tapped 11 points each.
On the other end of the court, Achille Polonara added 18 points and seven rebounds as Zoran Dragic followed with 12 points.
Baskonia saw Jayson Granger, who recently returned to action from a long-term injury, exiting the game in pain after falling during the second half of the game. There is no official update about his injury yet by the club.

UPDATE: Granger posted the following message on his social media after the game, confirming it was “just a scare”.
