Baskonia guard Luca Vildoza won MVP of the Spanish ACB League’s championship game. He scored the game-winning layup vs. Barcelona with three seconds remaining while finishing the match with a team-high 17 points (3/5 2-pointers, 2/5 3-pointers, 5/5 free throws), four rebounds, two assists and two steals in 27:27.
Vildoza pushed Baskonia to its first ACB championship in 10 years and fourth overall in the history of the club. He celebrated his first title on a club level.
By winning MVP, Vildoza succeeded fellow Argentinian guard Facu Campazzo. The latter earned 2019 Finals MVP after leading Real Madrid to the championship trophy.
