Facundo Campazzo with 26.9 seconds remaining hit the game-winning lay-up for Real Madrid in the ACB Supercopa final win, 72-67, against arch-rival FC Barcelona.
The Argentinian floor general punched in a team-high 21 points adding 1/2 free throws following his clutch effort through the opposing defense. He scored 12 of his points in the final quarter.
Alberto Abalde posted 13 points and Gabriel Deck followed with 11. The sixth ACB Supercopa under the guidance of Pablo Laso, seventh overall, and third straight got the Whites over Barca in the list of teams with the most titles, 7-6.
Barcelona ultimately fell short at Tenerife despite Nikola Mirotic putting up a game-high 22 points. Brandon Davies had 12 points and Nick Calathes 11.
Both Spanish powerhouses will be moving on with the 2020-21 editions of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and ACB.
