Barcelona guard Cory Higgins has been registered for Barcelona’s team in the Spanish ACB League and may make his debut in the road game against Unicaja Malaga Thursday (24/9).
Higgins had undergone surgery in July for chronic plantar fasciitis on his right foot. He had to miss the Spanish Supercup and the ACB opener, a win over San Pablo Burgos at home.
After Malaga, Barcelona is hosting CSKA Moscow, Higgins’ former team, for the EuroLeague premiere Gameday on Thursday October 1st.
While Barcelona is having Higgins back, forward Victor Claver is out after one of his close contacts tested positive for coronavirus.
