Day 12 of the Spanish League featured lots of action as Real Madrid improved to 11-0. Iberostar Tenerife got to 10-1 and FC Barcelona to 9-2. Burgos and Baskonia have 8-3 records.
UCAM Murcia – Urbas Fuenlabrada 84-81
Conner Frankamp logged 19 points and ten assists for the winning side while Augusto Lima and Tomas Bellas added 13 each.
For the opposing team, Melo Trimble scored 24 and Marc Garcia 17 points.
Herbalife Gran Canaria – MoraBanc Andorra 62-79
David Jelinek scored 15 for Andorra while Tomasz Gielo added 12 and Babatunde Olomuyiwa ten points.
For Gran Canaria, Tomas Dimsa scored 11 and Frankie Ferrari ten points.
Monbus Obradoiro – Hereda San Pablo Burgos 63-78
Alex Renfroe went off for 31 points on 12-17 shooting including 4-4 threes while Dejan Kravic and Thad McFadden added 14 each.
For Obradoiro, Jake Cohen scored 14 and Pepe Pozas 12 points.
Estudiantes – Unicaja Malaga 90-92
Alberto Diaz and Adam Waczynski paced Unicaja to a tough victory against Estudiantes with 16 and 15 points respectively. Axel Bouteille added 13 points and Francis Alonso followed with 11 points.
Alessandro Gentile posted a game-high performance with 20 points and Alec Brown tapped 19 along with 6 rebounds.
Gipuzkoa – Joventut Badalona 68-99
Vladimir Brodziansky paced all Joventut scorers with 23 points, Simon Birgander tapped 16 points and 7 rebounds and Xavier Lopez-Arostegui added 14 points.
Jaime Echenique led the hosts with 21 points, Dino Radoncic had 13 points and five rebounds and Pere Tomas added 12 points.
Coosur Real Betis – RETAbet Bilbao 89-96
Ondrej Balvin banked in a 23-point, 11-rebound double-double, and Arnoldas Kulboka also poured 23 points putting a seven-game losing streak in all competitions to rest.
James Feldeine led the hosts with 18 points.
Valencia – Iberostar Tenerife 89-95
Marcelinho Huertas paired a game-high 22 points with seven assists and Bruno Fitipaldo banked in nine out of his 16 points in the pivotal fourth quarter. Aaron Doornekamp added 17 points for the visitors jumping to 10-1.
Klemen Prepelic putting up 20 points did not make the cut for Valencia.
Casademont Zaragoza – FC Barcelona 85-97
Cory Higgins punched in the team-high 17 points. Pierre Oriola went for 14. Brandon Davies added 12 and Nick Calathes combined 11 with nine assists.
For the home side, Dylan Ennis finished with 26 points and Robin Benzing with 20.
Real Madrid – Baxi Manresa 100-78
Facundo Campazzo bid farewell before joining the Denver Nuggets with a game-high 20 points helping the Whites reaching the 11-0 mark. Sergio Llull knocked in 17 points.
As for the visitors, Scott Eatherton posted a team-high 16 points.
