Barcelona recovered from Friday’s tough loss to Maccabi Tel Aviv in EuroLeague and returned in full shape against Joventut Badalona.
Adam Hanga paced Sarunas Jasikevicius’ squad to a 88-74 victory with 18 points, as Barca moved up to a 12-3 record and their third straight win in Spain. Xavi Lopes-Arostegui led Badalona (9-5) with 13 points and Pau Ribas had 11.
Baskonia (11-4) also ended this week on a good note with a 79-72 win over Tenerife (12-2) at home. Rokas Giedraitis and Zoran Dragic paced the winners with 15 points each, while Santiago Yusta added a team-high with 13 points for Tenerife.
Valencia (8-6) struggled but in the end prevailed over Murcia (7-7) with an 89-78 victory at home to extend its streak to four games. Sam Van Rossom led the hosts with 16 points, 7 assists and 3 rebounds and Nikola Kalinic registered 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Conner Frankamp led all scorers of the game with 21 points for Murcia.
