In the absence of Sergio Llull, Rudy Fernandez and Nicolas Laprovittola, Edy Tavares had to do basically everything for Real Madrid to overcome Andorra, perhaps even more than usual: Buckets (16 points), rebounds (13 boards), blocks (two “tapons”) in just 24:11 minutes.
He even hit triples.
Yep. Tavares’ first 3-pointer ever in his career was probably the highlight of the game. Moreso, considering the fact that it also had a “clutch” factor. That was the finale of the game which Real won 86 – 79.
David Jelinek led Andorra with 16 points while Jeremy Senglin had 12. Apart from Tavares, Fabien Causeur finished with 13 points and Jaycee Carroll had 12 points for Real Madrid.
