In the clash of archrivals, this time in the Spanish Cup Final, Barcelona logged a rarely convincing win over Real Madrid with 88-73 on the scoreboard.
Barcelona grabbed its 26th trophy in the competition and chases after Real Madrid which tops the list of winners with 28.
MVP Cory Higgins scored 20 points for the winning side followed by Rolands Smits with 13 and Nikola Mirotic with 12 points. Nick Calathes logged 12 points and nine assists while Brandon Davies added ten points and eight rebounds.

For the losing team, Walter Tavares logged 17 points and nine rebounds while Alberto Abalde helped with 15 points. Gabriel Deck and Carlos Alocen scored nine points each.
The first half was the downfall of Real Madrid as they fell behind by too much and Barcelona secured a 52-31 lead at halftime. Higgins and Mirotic led the way with some help from Smits as the new champions didn’t allow the Whites to get closer than an 11-point margin (73-62).
