UCAM Murcia put on a fight and gave some trouble to Real Madrid but the Whites overpowered them, especially in the final minutes for a 74-58 road win in the Spanish Liga Endesa.
Edy Tavares continued with strong outings, this time with 16 points and seven rebounds on one miss from the field. Jaycee Carroll added 13 and Fabien Causeur 11 points while Gabriel Deck helped with ten.
Tavares also logged five turnovers which were the main problem from the Madridistas as they lost it a total of 20 times. Nicolas Laprovittola also turned over the ball five times and coach Pablo Laso made a severe cut after the second quarter.
He put the Argentinian guard on the bench for the rest of the game and Carlos Alocen got all the minutes as the ball handler in the second half. Alocen logged four points, four assists, three boards, and one turnover, although he struggled shooting-wise with 1-10 form the field.
For Murcia, which now holds an 8-15 record, Emanuel Cate scored 17 and Jordan Davis 16 points. Real Madrid tops the standings with a near-perfect 22-1 record.
