After the narrow loss to Real Madrid, Barcelona bounced back with two straight wins in the Spanish League, the latest coming against BAXI Manresa with 97-89 on the scoreboard.
Brandon Davies led the charge with 21 points with just one miss while Cory Higgins scored 16 and Pau Gasol 13 points. Gasol shot 5-6 in the ten minutes he spent on the floor.
For Manresa, Scott Eatherton had a strong display with 23 points while Makai Mason helped with 16.
Barca improved to 26-4 and stayed at the second spot in the standings behind Real Madrid (29-1) while Manresa got slowed down in the chase for a playoff ticket. They now hold a 14-17 record at the eighth spot but Unicaja follows with 14-14 and three games behind the schedule.
