Tyson Perez will go through surgery and be sidelined for nine to ten months after suffering a torn ACL in his left knee, MoraBanc Andorra announced Monday.
Perez, 25, was recently cleared to return to action after missing ten weeks due to injury. He lasted six ACB games averaging 7.8 points per appearance in his brief healthy run.
Andorra, currently tied eighth in the ACB standings with Unicaja Malaga at 16-18, will extend its playoffs push without the Dominican swingman.
Perez had 8.5 points and 5.8 rebounds per Spanish league game this season. He also put up 9.7 points and 5.9 rebounds per 7DAYS EuroCup appearance in his injury-filled campaign.
