Lenovo Tenerife center Giorgi Shermadini is the 2020-21 season MVP of the Liga Endesa, announced Wednesday. 32-year-old Shermadini lands this honor for the first time in his career, after obtaining the highest score in the vote made between players and coaches of the competition clubs, fans, and the media.
Shermadini received 100/100 votes following his incredible season with Tenerife after he led the competition with an average of 17.0 points (66.1% FG), 5.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and a PIR of 22.5.
Next in line was Real Madrid’s Edy Tavares with 65 votes, Barcelona’s Nikola Mirotic who received 33, follow Tenerife teammate Marcelinho Huertas with 28 votes and Baskonia’s Pierria Henry.

Liga Endesa released its First and Second Teams of the 2020-21 season on Wednesday, as voted by fans, media, players and coaches of the competition.
The All-ACB First Team includes Marcelinho Huertas (Lenovo Tenerife), Pierria Henry (TD Systems Baskonia), Xabi Lopez-Arostegui (Club Joventut Badalona), Giorgi Shermadini (Lenovo Tenerife), Walter Tavares (Real Madrid).
At the same time, the following five players gained entry in the All-ACB Second Team: Melo Trimble (Urbas Fuenlabrada), Cory Higgins (Barcelona), Rokas Giedraitis (TD Systems Baskonia), Nikola Mirotic (Barcelona) and Jasiel Rivero (San Pablo Burgos).
