Coming from the momentum of a 25-point win over ASVEL in the EuroLeague on Thursday, Baskonia took down Bilbao Basket 101-86 at home in the Spanish Liga Endesa.
Wade Baldwin exploded with a season-high performance of 26 points, along with 4 assists and three rebounds to lead the efforts of the winners. Simone Fontecchio added 19 points and Jayson Granger had 17.
The hosts grabbed a 22-18 lead in the first quarter and never lost their momentum since, to reach their third straight victory in the ACB and move up to a 7-6 record in the standings.
Khyri Thomas tapped 23 points for the visiting side, Valentin Bigote followed with 16 points Damien Inglis had 13. Bilbao now falls further down the standings with a 3-9 record.
