Recently-crowned Basketball Champions League champion Lenovo Tenerife cruised to a 103-76 victory versus Joventut Sunday.

Canadian forward Kyle Wiltjer was the clear man of the match pouring a season-high 37 points. Behind 11/15 field goals, including 6/10 triples, he eclipsed his career-best in Europe falling shy of only a couple of 40-point efforts hit in the NCAA and G League.

The team guided by Bilbao-born experienced tactician Txus Vidorreta tied the best-of-three series at one win apiece. Game 3 returning the series to Badalona will determine which side will progress from the Liga Endesa Quarterfinals to the Semifinals.

Dialing in in 14/26 attempts from beyond the arc paced Tenerife. Connecting four three-pointers, Finnish Sasu Salin chipped in 16 points in Game 2. Bruno Fitipaldo added 14 points and Marcelo Huertas posted a 12-point, 11-assist double-double in the one-side affair.

For the losing side, experienced Croatian center Ante Tomic scored a team-high 19 points and Dominican point guard Andres Feliz finished with 16 points. Visiting Santiago Martin, their side faced a double-digit deficit in the first period and fell further behind the rest of the way.

Real Madrid was the first team through to the Semifinals yesterday, Saturday. Up 1-0 in its own best-of-three series, FC Barcelona will take on Gran Canaria later today (21:00 CET). Elsewhere, Valencia and Bitci Baskonia tied at 1-1, are headed to a do-or-die Game 3 tomorrow, Monday.

The ACB Semifinals and Finals will switch to a best-of-five series to decide the finalists and from there the 2021-22 champion.
