Dzanan Musa had 21 points and seven assists as Real Madrid crushed Real Betis 100 – 69 to advance to the Final of the 2022 Spanish SuperCup. The Blancos will face either Barcelona or Joventut Badalona in the Final, where they’ll defend their title.
Musa contributed 15 of his points and six of his assists in the second half when his team completely dominated. Real led 45 – 32 at the break and proceeded to overpower its opponents 26 – 13 in the third period to establish its absolute hold on the game. Betis was unable to react while Chus Mateo’s players didn’t take feet off the gas.
Gabriel Deck added 17 points plus six rebounds, Vincent Poirier posted 14 points plus seven boards and Guerschon Yabusele finished with 13 points plus nine rebounds of his own for Real Madrid.
BJ Johnson (14 points, six rebounds), Shannon Evans (12 points) and George Tsalbouris (10 points) scored in double figures for Real Betis.
