Trailing for most of the way, including the entire second quarter, Real Madrid sprinted to an 11-2 run at the top of the fourth quarter and building more distance secured the win, 96-79, opposite Joventut Sunday.

Dzanan Musa had 18 points and fellow member of the Splash Brates Mario Hezonja combined 13 points with nine rebounds. Guerschon Yabusele tipped in 17 points and also registered two blocks in the Liga Endesa Regular Season Round 4 game. Nigel Williams-Goss, Rudy Fernandez, and Adam Hanga all remained on the injury list for the team coached by Chus Mateo.

Jumping to 2-2, Cazoo Baskonia was comfortable on the road and took down Casademont Zaragoza, 97-83. Captain Rokas Giedraitis and Matt Costello put in 19 points each. Steven Enoch stayed on Joan Penarroya’s injury list. On the opposite end, Santiago Yusta logged a game-high 22 points.

More ACB action as Thad McFadden hit the game-winning three-pointer for UCAM Murcia in the away win, 75-74, against Valencia. The experienced guard scored six of his 11 points in the fourth quarter of the nail-biter. Jasiel Rivero’s 26 points were not enough for the hosts.

Before the game, the Taronges added James Webb III to the injury list alongside Martin Hermannsson and Millan Jimenez. Picking up an injury in his left foot during Friday’s EuroLeague game opposite LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne, he is set to miss more action, including the upcoming two-game week of Europe’s premier club continental competition.

Earlier in the top-flight division of Spain, Tyson Carter poured 20 points as Unicaja earned the win, 73-59, versus Girona and Marc Gasol.

Yesterday, FC Barcelona blew out Baxi Manresa.
