Three wins in a row for FC Barcelona between the EuroLeague, against Milan, and the ACB League, first against Lenovo Tenerife and now on the road against Valencia.
Sarunas Jasikevicius’ team imposed itself 92-80 in La Fonteta with a massive game by Nicolas Laprovittola, who had 21 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Chris Jones, who ended the game with 19 points and 22 of efficiency, did his best to keep Valencia alive, but he wasn’t enough.
It was Tomas Satoransky’s 31st birthday and he set the tone early, scoring 10 points in the first period, as did also Laprovittola.
“I like to play with him, it takes a lot of pressure from me”, said the Argentinian guard after the game for the former NBA player who had in total 12 points and five assists.
Earlier in the day, Sergio Llull dragged Real Madrid to an outstanding 91-69 win against Fuenlabrada. The Spanish rivals are tied at 5-1 on top of the ACB League standings together with Tenerife in a three-way tie.
