In round 14 of the ACB league, Girona stunned Joventut 79-66. Girona is back in the winning column keeping above the red line.
The home side got on a big run in the second quarter for a nice lead at halftime 41-28. They managed to keep composed and pull away with the surprise victory.
Kameron Taylor led the way with 19 points. The veteran Marc Gasol had nine points 11 rebounds and three assists. For Joventut, Henry Ellenson scored 12 points.
Valencia struggled with Fuenlabrada in the end but got the win 92-86. The away side made a late push, but it was not enough. The Serbian Jovan Novak scored 14 points in the loss, while Jared Harper led Valencia with 18 points.
To round up the day, Markus Howard continues to impress. The shooting guard scored 32 points in just under 23 minutes against Granada. He led Baskonia to a win 95-84.
