After four wins, Girona’s streak is snapped. Barcelona did what was expected in round 18 of the ACB league 84-73.
Coach Sarunas Jasikevicius’s team had a double-digit lead after the first quarter, allowing only 12 points. But to credit Girona, they had a great second quarter that gave them the lead at the half (36-36).
Nicolas Laprovittola led the way in the second half when Barcelona regained the big lead and secured the victory. The Argentinian scored 19 points, and Rokas Jokubaitis added 17. Kameron Taylor scored 23 points in a losing effort.
