Following finding out that Zalgiris Kaunas will be its opponent in the EuroLeague playoffs, FC Barcelona convincingly took down Real Madrid 97-82 in the umpteenth Clasico of the season. However, the Catalan side can’t be totally happy, as Alex Abrines, Cory Higgins, and Jan Vesely got injured.

For the home side, Nikola Mirotic led the way on offense scoring 23 points with 6 rebounds, while Tomas Satoransky and Nicolas Laprovittola followed with 32 points and 16 assists combined. Real Madrid had impressive efforts from Dzanan Musa and Guerschon Yabusele, who combined for 43 points.

While FC Barcelona and Real Madrid had one victory each in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, Sarunas Jasikevicius’ team has now won both clashes with its eternal rivals in the ACB League. The two teams didn’t face each other in the 2023 Copa del Rey, while Real Madrid won in OT the Spanish Supercup.
