Canadian shooting guard Kassius Robertson scored 44 points, a new career-high that was not enough for Monbus Obradoiro against Cazoo Baskonia in Fernando Buesa Arena.
Robertson, 28, tucked in 9/14 three-pointers Wednesday. Despite making 14/21 from the field and all of his seven free-throw attempts, his side struggled to build around the hot shooting and was forced down to 12-16 in Liga Endesa. Trailing in double-digits most of the 40 minutes of the Regular Season Round 28 contest, Obradoiro lost 110-94.
Securing yet another win in the 2022-23 edition of Spain’s top-tier division, Joan Penarroya’s side jumped to 23-5. Max Heidegger tallied 26 points behind 7/8 from beyond the arc.
