The captain of Valencia Basket, Bojan Dubljevic, admitted that he does not know if he will continue at the club next season and that this is not something comfortable to deal with before the games against Barcelona, but he said that he wants to stay in the club, although he pointed out that two parties are needed for the agreement, Mundo Deportivo reports.
“It is true that for me it is a bit strange and the situation is not very comfortable. I still have a contract here and until it’s over I’m not going to think about the future, about what’s going to happen in a few weeks. I want to give my best and I don’t know my last year or not, I don’t know, but I’m going to give my best until the last day,” he pointed out.
“ I have said many times that I wanted to stay and end up here and that does not change. It’s my dream, I would like to but you need two parties for an agreement. But that is for later, it is not time to think about it“.
The big man from Montenegro said that they have played all season to be able to compete for the title in the playoffs.
“ It is something very nice and we want to play our basketball. We will try to do our best. We want to give our fans confidence again, we need to play together as a team and give our best”, he stated.
Dubljevic said he had not heard Mumbrú’s criticism of the team after the loss against Río Breogán on Wednesday. “I don’t think anything of that. It’s true that we didn’t play the game well and we didn’t fight, I don’t know why. We need to forget all those things,” he stated.
