Valencia Basket has decided to end the contractual relationship with Chechu Mulero, who in the last nine seasons had served as sports director and who, in the previous ten, served as an assistant coach.
Since his arrival in 2004 as an assistant coach, he was part of the coaching staff that lifted the EuroCup titles won in 2010 and 2014. In that first stage, he also served as interim head coach in eleven games spread out at different times.
After winning the EuroCup in Kazan, he became the club’s sports director, building the squads of the men’s team that won the Endesa League in 2017, the 2017 Endesa Super Cup, and the 2019 EuroCup.
