MURCIA, Spain – Unicaja falling shy of a win against Real Madrid in the final of Supercopa Endesa did not significantly budge Dylan Osetkowski. The former Texas standout retains a firm belief in success later in the 2023-24 season.
“We proved that we can compete for 40 minutes with anybody,” he noted after the game on Sunday, “They got us today. But we are confident in ourselves and what we have.”
The Malaga outfit is set for the next editions of the Basketball Champions League at the continental level and Spain’s Liga Endesa at the domestic level. Most of the players from the 2022-23 squad stayed with Kameron Taylor coming in to replace departing Dario Brizuela.
“Kam is a phenomenal addition to our team,” Osetkowski commented on his new teammate.
Up next is Lenovo Tenerife to start the Liga Endesa Regular Season next Saturday.
