As officially announced by Rio Breogan’s director general Tito Díaz in a press conference, Zan Mark Sisko will leave Rio Breogan after joining the Spanish side in the summer of 2023, announcing he may want to step back from the game of basketball.
Playing one single game with Rio Breogan, losing 88-79 against Baskonia while scoring 5 points, he then decided to leave the Galician team. “After trying for some time to get my career back on track after a year away, things didn’t go as I had hoped and planned, so I had to make the difficult decision to stop my basketball career and start a new chapter in my life”, he announced.
“I would like to thank all the people at the club for all the support and the opportunity they gave me. I would also like to thank all the fans for the love and support they have shown me in this short period of time. I wish them all the best for the future!”, the Slovenian playmaker also added.
Before moving to Rio Breogan, Zan Mark Sisko spent the previous four years in Bayern Munich, winning two German Cups. Previously, he played with Primorska, Ilirija, Cibona, and Union Olimpija, spending one year on loan to Škofja Loka.
In his all-time EuroLeague career, the 26-year-old point guard has been averaging 4.3 points, 1.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 0.8 steals per game, shooting 47.9% from two-point range and 39.2% from beyond the arc.
Zan Mark Sisko sae do Río Breogán por motivos persoais. O xogador da as grazas ao club e afección nun comunicado no que confirma a súa decisión.
