With new coach Alberto Padilla giving to Zender Palencia a little bit of a boost the last team in the Liga Endesa standings was competitive but lost to Baskonia 94-82.
Chima Moneke had a spectacular night with 29 points, 12 rebounds and a PIR of 42 in the first game of the 15th round which will be completed on the 22nd and the 23rd of December.
The game was decided in the last period with a partial score of 32-14 for the winners. Markus Howard and Vanja Marinkovic did their part with 19 and 17 points respectively.
Palencia remains on the bottom of the league with a 1-12 record. while Baskonia is 7th at 7-6.
