Joventut was unbeaten in December, but then Real Madrid came to Badalona, and the winning streak of Carles Duran’s side flew out of the window.

At this point, it’s safe to say that Chus Mateo’s side seems unstoppable as they dominated the home team and recorded their 31st victory in their 33rd game of the season in all competitions, with a final score of 73-101.

What makes Real Madrid‘s 14th ACB victory of the season noteworthy is that all the players that Chus Mateo brought to the game entered the scoring sheet, and only Carlos Alocen spent more than 20 minutes on the court.

Dzanan Musa led in points with 15, followed by Mario Hezonja with 14. Alocen contributed 11 points, and Vicent Poirier added 10, making them the only other players in double figures.

For Joventut, Andrew Andrews scored 11 points, while Andres Feliz and Ante Tomic added 10 each.

Valencia stumbles at home against Granada

Valencia welcomed Granada to the ACB League Round 15 in great form, having won six out of the last seven games in both competitions. They were considered clear favorites to continue their success at home.

However, Granada secured a surprising 75-81 victory at Pabellón Fuente de San Luis, dealing Alex Mumbru’s side their fifth loss of the season in the domestic championship. This victory improved Granada’s score to 5-10.

The winning side showcased balanced scoring with six players reaching double digits, led by Cristiano Felicio with 16 points. Jonathan Rousselle contributed 12 points along with seven assists, while Kwan Cheatham and Joe Thomasson each added 11 points. Evaldas Kairys and Pere Tomas rounded out the effort with 10 points apiece.

In contrast, Valencia had only two players scoring 10 or more points, with Brandon Davies standing out with an impressive 22 points, and Chris Jones following closely with 13 points.
