Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 85-79 in an exciting El Clasico match, marking Real Madrid‘s third consecutive loss and second in the league.
This defeat has caused Real Madrid to drop to second place in the standings with a record of 23-5, now trailing behind Unicaja. The top position shift at this season stage hasn’t occurred since 2014/15.
Barcelona quickly took control of the game, securing a 27-9 lead in the first period, which they extended to 38-17 by halftime. Although Real Madrid began to mount a comeback and narrowed the deficit, they ultimately fell short.
