After three seasons with Gran Canaria, AJ Slaughter leaves the 2023 EuroCup champions to join Casademont Zaragoza, still sticking to Spanish basketball.
The 36-year-old American guard, who has been playing as naturalized with the Polish national team since 2015, averaged 8.4 points per game in the 2023-24 BKT EuroCup campaign, where the yellow-and-black Canarian side didn’t manage to win in back-to-back fashion.
Coming overseas in 2010 to play in Italy with Biella, he also represented Panathinaikos and ASVEL in the past, winning one Greek Cup, one LNB, and one French Cup. He has never collected any medals internationally with Poland, but he contributed to reaching the 2022 EuroBasket Semi-Finals.
