Parting ways with Reyer Venice once his contract expired, Marco Spissu reached a two-year agreement with Casademont Zaragoza, moving to the ACB.

He will join the Spanish side once his duties with the Italian national team are done for this summer, trying to get to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris through the FIBA OQT in Puerto Rico.

This is the second time he will play outside of his home country, where he wore the jerseys of Dinamo Sassari, Virtus Bologna, Derthona Basket, and Reyer Venice among others.

He was supposed to play in Spain ahead of the 2021-22 season when he reached a two-year agreement with Unicaja Malaga. However, after eventually not joining the team, he moved to UNICS Kazan to debut in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, where he averaged 5.1 points and 2.6 assists per game.

After his only and last season in Russia, he came back to Italy, signing with Reyer Venice, where he stayed until the end of the 2023-24 season. In the latest BKT EuroCup campaign, he had 12.7 points, 5.6 assists, and 1.4 steals per game, shooting 60.4% from two and 45.6% from three.
