If there is one team that has received an almost “Pan-European” acclaim, during this season, that is no other than Valencia. After their victory against CAI Zaragoza for the Liga Endesa, the “Bats” are now in an impressive 28-0 winning streak. Yes, they haven’t lost a single game since the season began. We have already informed you how they are… caught between CSKA and the L.A. Lakers in a way. But right now, there’s more to them.
Now, pay attention. After the result mentioned above, Valencia has the third biggest winning record in the rich and glorious history of Spanish Basketball. The first place belongs to Joventut Badalona, who had an incredible 34-0 winning streak in the 1977-1978 season, while Real Madrid is second thanks to the 31-0 of 2013/2014.

These records, however, include international games as well. When it comes to the Spanish Championship, Valencia is now even higher than…. almost all the rest, thanks to the 16-0. Only Real Madrid has a best winning record. That is because the Madridistas celebrated 28 consecutive victories during 2013/2014. Coach Pedro Martinez’s team has a long way ahead of it in order to reach that number, but hey…. they still amaze us.
#OJOALDATO – @valenciabasket ha firmado el segundo mejor arranque (16-0) en TODA la historia de la Liga ACB, tras el 28-0 del Madrid 2013-14
