The clash between Río Breogán and La Laguna Tenerife in Round 2 of the Spanish ACB League was halted with less than eight minutes left in the first half, with the score tied at 23-23, due to condensation in the gym and high risk of injury.
Referee Fernando Calatrava decided to send the players from both teams to the locker rooms following a dangerous fall by German international David Kramer from Tenerife.
After continuous player slips in the first quarter, the match was briefly stopped. Following consultations with coaches Veljko Mršić and Txus Vidorreta, the referees initially decided to restart it.
However, after Kramer slipped, the match was stopped permanently.
