Mario Hezonja finally made his season debut with Real Madrid to help his team capture its first win in the 2024-25 Spanish ACB. The Croatian forward posted 13 points and five rebounds as the Blancos beat Zaragoza 101 – 95.
Hezonja had lost seven kilos due to illness and was forced to stay sidelined until he put up some weight and regained his strength. Next week, he will also make his EuroLeague debut as Real Madrid is hosting Partizan Belgrade Thursday (10/10).
Dzanan Musa led Real vs. Zaragoza with 18 points and seven rebounds. Gabriel Deck also scored 18, 13 of them in the last quarter.
Trae Bell-Haynes had 21 points for Zaragoza. Bojan Dubljevic dropped 18 points.
