Real Madrid celebrated an 86-61 win over BAXI Manresa in the latest ACB Round, continuing a recent good form.

After improving their record to 3-2 in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague after beating Crvena Zvezda, the Blancos did the same in domestic action, achieving a positive record.

Xavier Rathan-Mayes and Mario Hezonja led the capital side in scoring with 14 points each, immediately followed by Dzanan Musa with 13 points. Walter Tavares had 10 points and 6 rebounds, while Serge Ibaka finished scoreless but grabbed 8 rebounds for Real Madrid.

On BAXI Manresa’s side, nobody finished scoring in double-digits. Marcis Steinbergs led his team with 9 points, while Musa Sagnia finished with 8 points and 7 rebounds.

In this upcoming double-game week, Chus Mateo’s team will play on the road in back-to-back fashion, first traveling to Piraeus to face Olympiacos and then to Belgrade to play against Maccabi Tel Aviv. BAXI Manresa, instead, will face Niners Chemnitz in the Basketball Champions League.
