Valencia Basket dominated Coviran Granada in Round 16 of the ACB League, winning 120-94 and breaking the club’s halftime scoring record with 67 points. Talented Sergio De Larrea stole the show with a historic performance.

The 19-year-old once again showcased his abilities at a young age, solidifying his status as a promising NBA Draft prospect.

De Larrea recorded 10 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists—a feat that, at his age, had previously been achieved only by Santi Abad in 1987 and Luka Dončić during the 2017/18 season. He posted a personal best PIR of 23, becoming only the third player in the history of the Spanish ACB League to achieve this stat line.

In May 2018, a beardless Luka Dončić, who had just turned 19, recorded the last triple-double—and the seventh overall—in the history of the Endesa League: 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. On the other hand, in the eighties, a young Santi Abad amazed the national basketball scene with 27 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists against Real Madrid,” reported ACB.com.

Valencia’s rising star De Larrea, who turned 19 just over a month ago, is averaging 6.5 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in the Endesa League this season while contributing 5.7 points and 3.3 assists in 10 EuroCup appearances.
