The draw of the 2025 Copa del Rey was held in Las Palmas on Monday.
As the top four teams at the midway point of the 2024-25 edition of Spain’s Liga Endesa Regular Season, Unicaja, defending champion Real Madrid, Valencia, and La Laguna Tenerife were seeded for the draw. The unseeded teams, those finishing the first round of the ACB sitting fifth through eighth, were Joventut Badalona, BAXI Manresa, host Dreamland Gran Canaria, and FC Barcelona.
The draw put matchups between Unicaja and Badalona, and Tenerife and Barcelona on the top side of the bracket, while Madrid against Manresa and Gran Canaria versus Valencia went to the opposite end.
Back in Las Palmas for action, instead of forming the pairings, the midseason tournament will be played in Gran Canaria Arena between February 13 and 16.
