It seems that Stefan Markovic’s return to courts won’t happen any soon. The point guard of Unicaja Malaga suffers from a bone edema, that will keep him sidelined indefinitely.
While Juan Plaza’s initial plan was to even give some playing time to Markovic in the Euroleague game against Anadolu Efes, a new problem appeared in the guard’s left leg. According to La Opinion de Malaga, the Serbian player is now afflicted with a bone edema that further delays his return to action.
The most positive estimation is that Markovic will not be allowed to play for only a couple of weeks, but as long as the situation is not improving, he might be out indefinitely.
