Fran Vasquez of Unicaja Malaga became today the all time leader in blocks in the history of the Spanish ACB, while Valencia became the first team to reach the milestone of 21 made threes in a game.
Vasquez has now 672 career blocks (1,26 bpg), one more than legendary Fernando Romay (671, 1,61 blp). The third place belongs to George Singleton (588, 2,34 bpg) and the fourth to none other than Arvydas Sabonis (528, 2,25 bpg). Unicaja got the 82-71 win over Andorra.
Meanwhile, Valencia torched Gipuzkoa with 121-79 win, having 21 out of 33 threes, the best ever team performance from long range in Spain.
