After being released by Laboral Kutxa, Spanish sharpshooter Alberto Corbacho re-joined Obradoiro, as the club from Santiago announced.
Corbacho had previously been a player of Obradorio for five years, so his return to the team is sort of a homecoming for him. In the previous season for Laboral Kutxa, he averaged 3.4 points per game in Euroleague and 3.8 points in Liga Endesa.
The people of Obradoiro were quite pleased with him coming back. “Alberto was one of the protagonists of some of the best pages in the history of the club”, said team GM Jose Luis Mateo. “The most important thing is that he wanted to return from the first minute I opened that possibility, which is why he was received with open arms.”
