Luka Doncic played for 13 minutes in the game against Valencia and scored 8 points (2-2 2P/ 1-1 3P/ 1-1 FT), grabbed 5 rebounds, and handed 2 assists and 2 blocks. The 17 years old guard left more than a good impression to Real’s fans and set hopes for the season.
This is his sophomore year with the senior team and he already has valuable ACB and Euroleague experience.
It’s notable that last season, in week 8 of the Liga ACB, Real played against Bilbao Basket and the youngster made his personal best in the Spanish League in points scored (15), rebounds (6), assists (4), and PIR (22), setting records in scoring and PIR for a player under age of 17 in the history of the ACB league.
